Question by Stranger In Paradise: This question is only for Malaysians, is it safe for a girl to travel to Melaka alone?
I’m 20 and planning to make a short trip to Melaka next week. I’ll be going sight-seeing, shopping, etc. Is it generally safe on the streets of Melaka? Are there any particularly dangerous places? Is it ok to take public buses after dark? Are there many pick-pockets? Please let me know, thanx.

It never safe now days at malaysia.
Once a peaceful country now became a criminal country.
Flip through the local papers. You’ll be amaze on what you found.
Those criminal are working like mad 24-7.
Don’t mention about going traveling, even those local there have to think twice or be alert just to collect their morning papers, or throw their rubbish or a jog or anything daily routine.
It all happen just within second unpredictable.
If you still insist wana travel alone. Wish you all the best and really take good care of yourself. The best way bring a friend along.
